A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a field in Worcester.
We previously reported how a walker found the body under a makeshift tent in a thicket in Ronkswood Hill Meadow, off Newtown Road, at around 11am on Tuesday.
The man in his 40s, who is believed to be of eastern European descent, has not yet been named.
Yesterday officers revisited the area to cordon off the scene and it has now emerged a Lithuanian man was arrested last night on suspicion of murder.
A spokesman for Worcester Police said: "Police last night arrested a man in his 30s in connection with an incident in which a man's body was found at land in the Ronkswood area earlier this week.
"He remains in custody while enquiries continue."
