MOONLIGHT nights in August will invariably find me in the garden, with glass, bottle, book .... and binoculars.
Yes, I knew you were going to ask why. It's because I like to scan the skies for UFOs.
Don't get me wrong. It's not that I necessarily believe in little green men, rather I cannot help noticing that there seems to be so much cosmic debris about these days that is appreciably more noticeable during the eighth month.
However, if I do some day spot a saucer or even a mother ship, then that would obviously be an added bonus.
