AFTER proving that she’s no one trick pony, X Factor hopeful Cher Lloyd is looking forward to having fun on tonight’s show.

The 17-year-old stunned everyone with a powerhouse performance of Shakespeare Sister’s Stay last week - a rendition that judge Simon Cowell described as the best of the entire series. She said it went “very, very well”, but has already hinted of a return to her rap music roots this evening.

She said: “It’s not a permanent thing, the whole Stay song. That was just to prove a point that I can actually sing but I’m going to bring it back a little. I’ll sing a bit more, but have some fun as well.”

Speaking on the official X Factor website the former Dyson Perrins High School pupil, who lives with her mum Dinah and dad Darren in Malvern Link, said that winning the ITV show would change her life.

“It would set a career up for me and I wouldn’t have to worry,” she said.

“My parents wouldn’t have to worry anymore and I’d be able to enjoy myself.

“I’m an alright singer, but I’m not the best and I know that. My advantage is that I’m probably a bit different and I don’t think anyone else is completely the same as me. It would be boring if everyone was.”

Tonight’s show is shown on ITV 1 at 8pm.
