X FACTOR fans have once again put Worcestershire youngster Cher Lloyd through to the next round of the popular TV show.
Social media sites Facebook and Twitter were buzzing last night after the 17-year-old's performance of Stay by Shakespears Sister in which she ditched her trademark rap style and sang the haunting tune to an audience of millions.
And the excitement was reflected in the results as host Dermot O'Leary announced her name just a few moments ago, following millions of telephone votes cast during yesterday and today.
It means the Malvern Link youngster marches on in the competition, in which she is one of the favourites to win a £1m recording contract.
