THE Mercian Festival Junior Football League is holding an extra event at Malvern Town FC this year to celebrate the league's 30th year.
It will be a curtain-raiser to the season's start on Sunday, September 3, and will have a similar format to the normal cup finals, but admission is free.
U15 girls: FC Phoenix Girls v Warndon Village WildCats (10am). U13s boys: Callow-brook Swifts v Newtown Sports Colts (noon). U14s boys: Drakes Broughton Rangers v Newtown Sports Juniors (2pm). U15s boys: Malvern Town Wanderers v Suffolk Rangers (4pm). U16s boys: Lyppard Rangers Speedy v Newtown Sports Juniors (6pm).
All the coming season's fixtures are now available for viewing on the league's website www.yellowjersey.co.uk.
Cup rounds are on October 7/8, November 11/12, Decem-ber 9/10 and January 13/14.
Cup finals at Malvern Town FC are on Sunday, April 29, girls' U13s and all mini soccer and Sunday, May 6, girls' U15s and all boys youth football.
Clubs are reminded that players' registration forms should be sent to the appropriate secretary as soon as possible.
