CASH grants could help city youngsters get great ideas off the ground.
The Prince's Trust is ready and waiting to give Worcester youngsters a big boost. The charity, that celebrates its 30th birthday this year, is offering money to people, aged between 11 and 25, who want to organise an activity or project that will benefit their local community.
The scheme is called the Big Boost and aims to encourage groups and individuals to take social responsibility and gain personal development from meaningful projects.
Les Brookes, Big Boost co-ordinator for the West Midlands, said: "We are looking for youngsters with ideas for a community project but no idea how to channel it or get funding for it."
Awards of up to £1,000 are available to 11 to 16 year olds, and up to £5,000 for those aged 16 to 25.
