POLICE were this week investigating another night raid on a shop in Broadway.

Four men wearing 'hoodies broke into Shopwright newsagents and post office in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

They smashed the glass front door and then broke into a cigarette kiosk and emptied its contents into a large plastic sack.

They fled in a vehicle, possibly a yellow, orange or gold Volvo, which had been parked on the verge outside the premises.

The exact value of the stolen property was not known but police said it was believed around £2,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen. The cost of the damage is believed to be £500. Police are appealing for information.
