A FORMER musician of the Year is coming to Malvern Theatres in August where he will be performing with the English Chamber Orchestra.
Pianist Freddy Kempf won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition in 1992 after a performance of Rachmaninov's Paganini Variations.
He will be performing at the Forum Theatre, Malvern, on Friday, August 11 at 7.30pm
One of his most well-known performances came in the 2002/03 season when he performed the complete Beethoven Piano Concerto's with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Daniele Gatti.
Joining Freddy on the night will be the English Chamber Orchestra, led by Stephanie Gonley, the youngest person to have held the position in the group's history.
Stephanie is a leading British violinist and appears as a soloist with many leading orchestras both in the UK and abroad.
