I CANNOT understand the hysterics over the planned new Tesco supermarket on the ex Bond Worth site in Stourport. It is not an extra supermarket but a replacement for an outdated one.
When it was first published it said it was not a superstore but somewhere between the size of the existing one and the one in Kidderminster.
Surely Tesco would not build a new store in direct competition with the one in Kidderminster. Stourport is continually growing. Why should the residents have to continually travel up to Kidderminster to shop? This is not good for the environment.
