A PERSHORE girl is celebrating after winning a competition at this year's Skills on Show festival, organised and held at Worcestershire County Council.
Carol Worthington was one of eight youngsters who successfully found six characters that were hidden on exhibitors' stands at the show.
The youngster bagged herself a family ticket to see a show of her choice at one the county's theatres or art venues.
Carol, with the help of two youngsters from Worcester, managed to clinch two free tickets after answering questions about the types of Christmas shows and events that will be held across the county.
County arts officer Steve Boffy said: "The competition gave visitors the chance to really get involved in this year's event and be rewarded for their efforts in the process."
The Skills on Show was held on Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8 at County Hall in Worcester.
