THE ninth annual retail challenge cup will take place at the home of Evesham United FC on Sunday evening to raise money for charity.
Tesco and Morrisons will battle it out for the trophy at Common Road, but the main reason for the game is to raise money for St Richard's Hospice.
Tesco team manager Mark Payne said: "This game has been played for nine years now, when a lady had the idea of raising money for the hospice when one of her relatives died of cancer.
"It always attracts a fairly big crowd and in the past it has raised in between £660 and £700 so that is the type of figure we are aiming to hit this time around, but obviously the more we can bring in the better."
Cheltenham Town FC striker Steve Guinan is making the short journey to Evesham to watch the game and he will also be handing out the much-coveted trophy to the winning captain.
Kick-off is at 6pm and tickets, for sale on the gate, will be £2 for adults and £1 for children and OAP's .
A raffle will also take place during the game with the winners announced afterwards.
