A LOYAL servant to Worcestershire County Council has been honoured with a commemorative plate after completing over 25 years of service.
Catherine Smith has spent the last quarter of a century working as a Homecare Assistant in Evesham and was rewarded for her hard work at a ceremony at Perdiswell Young People's Club in Worcester.
Jennie Bashforth, director of adult and community services at the county council, said: "I was delighted to be able to personally thank Catherine for her hard work. There is no doubt that her professionalism, dedication and commitment makes a real difference to the quality of life for people throughout the county."
