STAFF at Evesham Nursery School were thrilled after achieving top results in their recent Ofsted report.
Ofsted inspectors visited the school in June to carry out an inspection at the Four Pools Road nursery in Evesham and described it as 'universally outstanding in every category.'
Staff from the nursery who teach three and four-year-olds found when visiting the school they were captivated by the calm, purposeful atmosphere in which the buzz of excitement shows children keying into a wide range of interesting activities from the moment they walk into the building.
Inspectors said: "Excellent leadership and management and the outstanding work of the head in particular, mean that the school has moved from strength to strength since it was last inspected."
They went onto praise the work carried by the head, Naomi Christelow, 'She provides a climate in which staff and governors feel empowered to work as an energetic and highly effective team. This ensures that the school can only head onwards and upwards in the future.'
Ofsted inspectors also praised the staff for their outstanding teaching standards with new and challenging ideas making learning fun for the children.
The nursery was ranked as outstanding and the report added 'with everyone pulling together in the school the head creates a climate in which staff and governors all feel valued and inspired to do their best.'
