REDDITCH Arrows resume their push for the divisional championship and homefield advntage in the play-offs at Manchester Titans on Saturday.
Boasting a perfect 7-0 record, the Arrows cannot afford to slip in match in which victory will set up a potential title-decider at home to Chester.
And chairman Chris Halford is refusing to take anything for granted against a Titans outfit he says are stronger than their league standing suggests this season.
"Manchester have been really unlucky this year with injuries and if they get back all of their injured players will turn someone over," he warned, "we have to make sure that it is not us. "We also have added pressure in that in order to get homefield advantage throughout the playoffs we not only have to win but to concede as few as points as possible."
Head Coach Ian Hill sounded a positive note on a season which has so far kept the possibility of a return to the second tier of the British gridiron game a possibility.
"At the start of the season we set ourselves a goal to reach the Bowl game at the end of September," he said. "So far the guys have done everything they can to make this happen. Our defense has been outstanding this year and have taken up the challenge of keeping clean sheets with two back-to-back ones.
"We have every chance now of going all the way but cannot afford to be complacent."
Following the Titans the Arrows complete their regular season home fixtures when they host Chester Romans on August 13.
The pressure is on the Romans, who have to reverse the defeat they suffered at home to the Arrows earlier in the season to have a chance of wresting the title from their rivals' grasp.
