TALENTED dancers have the chance to impress the best in a round of open auditions at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham on Sunday and Monday.
Celebrity judges Vanessa Leagh Hicks and Arlene Phillips, from TV's Strictly Dance Fever, will be on hand, along with dancers from the show, to hand pick dancers for the national Give Back Project.
The project is a mission to support original music and the arts and aims to encourage and motivate people to take on the challenge to help them reach their goals. It gives talented, unsigned bands and singer/songwriters the chance to play at major UK concert venues in a fully-produced show - and to get noticed.
Global Theatre chairman David Ian said: "From personal experience, I know how hard it can be for an artist to break through into the mainstream.
"I am passionate about nurturing and supporting talent for my shows and it is great to see the Give Back Project doing the same."
Auditions for dancers will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm and recalls will be held on Monday from 2-5pm.
Candidates should wear loose, comfortable clothing and should report to the Stage Door on arrival with a current photograph and CV.
