FIVE Ways Old Edwardians deepened neighbours Wythall's relegation worries with a 68-run derby victory at the weekend.
Old Eds posted a respectable 199-10 and their visitors could make only 131-10.
But Wythall - currently mired in the second relegation place - can hoist themselves out of the bottom two at the weekend with a positive result in their relegation scrap at home to third from bottom Pakshaheen.
Seven points separate Wythall from their nearest rivals whilst victory for Five Ways significantly banished their own relegation fears to give them a 32-point cushion over the bottom two.
