REDDITCH United have offered terms to two players who have impressed manager Gary Whild as their pre-season preparations continued.
Towering defender Exodus Geohaghan has verbally accepted a non-contract offer to join the Valley Stadium side from Bromsgrove Rovers - against whom he featured in Saturday's friendly, a 2-0 win for United.
Whild is expecting to sign the long-throw expert, who has been tracked by League Two side Bristol Rovers, this week.
And he is also hoping 18-year-old utility player Ashley Walker - released by Nationwide Conference outfit Kidderminster Harriers - will also accept an offer this week.
The Reds kicked off their pre-season programme with a 2-0 win at Alvechurch last week with fit-again Chris Murphy scoring both to demonstrate the knee problems that dogged him last season are behind him.
And former Ryman League striker James Knott gave Whild something to think about with the second goal in saturday's derby, following a Carl Palmer opener.
Redditch were set to visit Evesham United last night before tonight's prestige friendly against Birmingham City at the Valley (ko 7.45pm) and a trip to neighbours Studley on Saturday (ko 3pm).
The Midland Alliance side have also been in action, opening with a 7-0 win over West Bromwich Albion All Stars, a game which saw former Sunday league striker and new signing Andy Keenahan claim two goals.
That was followed by a 3-3 draw against Castle Vale last week and a 4-0 defeat to Stourbridge on Saturday.
Manager Kevin Rowlands has been busy, signing five players including Chinese under 21 international utility player Gary Choi and former Newcastle midfielder Paul O'Brien.
