THIS is the time of year when loud music causes a nuisance to others.
At the time of writing I am sitting in my study in Stoke Heath listening to loud music from Wheelwright Close. This is not unusual, on a recent Sunday we had to abandon the pleasure of sitting in the garden, as we found the music too annoying. We could even hear the music when watching our television!
Please, and this applies to people in other areas of the district, enjoy your music, but also have consideration towards others. When playing your music be aware that your bedroom acts as a bass speaker amplifying chamber, an open window acts as a vent to the speaker, the noise is 'boom, boom, boom', that can be heard over long distances, even inside other houses.
So please keep the windows shut, or turn the bass volume down.
A recent case involving a person in Charford resulted in a hefty find and the equipment being removed.
Don't let this happen to you.!
