SIR - I am sure the Grenadier Guards looked spectacular as they marched through Worcester in their immaculate uniforms complete with bearskins. I do wonder whether the Duke of Edinburgh, who is President of the World Wildlife Fund, finds it acceptable for bearskins to still be used when surely an alternative could be used and probably weigh much lighter on the guards' heads?
While we find it offensive to wear fur nowadays it does seem to be double standards and not a god reflection on the Queen whose Army it is.
