A CHARITY race night is being held this weekend by four women planning to scale new heights.
The adventurous group from Alcester, Bidford and Redditch are going to be walking up Ben Nevis to support cystic fibrosis sufferers and need to raise £325 each to take part.
The walk will take place in September, with Lorraine Mansfield, Pauline Watts, Beverley Cowley and Angela Akers all treking in memory of a 20-year-old Alcester man, Andrew Wade, who died last year from the disease.
They are holding the race night at the White Lion in Evesham Street, Alcester, on Saturday from 8pm.
There will also be a raffle with some racing prizes donated by local racecourses.
All are welcome and people can just turn up on the night.
