ARROW Valley Country Park has again achieved a Green Flag Award after judges found it a welcoming, safe and well-maintained place.
The Battens Drive park was also praised for its strong links with the community.
Redditch Council's visitors attractions manager Liz Stuffins said: "Staff and volunteers have worked extremely hard over the last two years getting the park in shape to enter the Green Flag Award scheme.
"We have an excellent new interpretation area and demonstration area for alternative technologies, showing how we are working towards environmental sustainibility. We also have an exciting and varied events programme."
The park will be formally awarded its Green Flag at a ceremony at the ICC, Birmingham, tomorrow.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the awards, which are seen as the national standards of excellence for parks and green spaces.
