A LAVISH puppet show and a Japanese comic book workshop are some of the diverse activities on offer for youngsters at Redditch Library this summer.
The fun starts on Friday with a visit from the Hartlebury Mobile Museum where children of all ages will be able to step back in time with a variety of historical artefacts for free from 2.30-4.30pm.
On Tuesday, children's classic The Snow Queen will be brought to life in a puppet show suitable for four to 11 year olds. It will run from 2.30-3.15pm and tickets are £1.50.
A two-hour workshop in Manga comic book drawing will be held on Monday, August 14 from 10am. It is for nine to 13 year olds and tickets are £1.50.
Little ones aged five to nine can also get crafty in a Make Your Own Spy Kit session on Wednesday, August 16 from 2.30-3.30pm while babies up to three can join a Melody Monkey Activity on Tuesday, August 22. It will run from 3-4pm and tickets for both sessions are 50p each.
And onWednesday, August 23, author Sarah Parry will be paying a visit and talking about her book Action Replay from 2.30-3.30pm. Tickets are 50p.
The final event of the summer will be on Tuesday, August 31 and is a mystery suitcase event for children over eight. It runs from 2.30-3.30pm and is 50p a ticket.
