A COMPANY hoping to build a sheltered housing complex will stage an exhibition to tell neighbours about its plans.
Churchill Retirement Living has bought a site in Worcester Road, Malvern Link, and is holding the exhibition prior to submitting a planning application to the district council.
The Hampshire-based company made an unsuccessful application last year but hopes to use the consultation process to adapt its plans and make them more suitable for Malvern.
Lisa Alexander, from Churchill Retirement Living, said: "We understand that it's important to consult with local communities. Churchill is not one of those companies who builds what we want, where we want.
"This is an opportunity for people to comment on design, like where the windows are and the look of the building."
The company specialises in purpose-built retirement apartments and has developments throughout the south of England. It has plans for a number of new developments in the Midlands, including the one in Malvern.
The exhibition will be held in Lower Hall at Holy Trinity Church, Worcester Road, Malvern, on Tuesday (August 8), from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Company representatives will be at the exhibition to talk to local people about the plans and answer questions.
