A REWARD of up to £1,000 is on offer for any information about a raid at a Droitwich petrol station.

Money, cigarettes and tobacco were stolen from the Total service station in Worcester Road at 4.15am on Friday, June 16.

Damage of £1,100 was also caused to the premises.

Police are currently studying CCTV footage of the incident, but the garage is offering members of the public a cash reward for any information which leadsto the arrest and charge of the thieves.

A spokesman for Total said: "We will not tolerate incidents of this nature. The safety and security of staff and customers is an absolute priority for us and the reward scheme is part of a raft of measures being introduced by the company across the country to combat forecourt crime.

"Other measures being implemented towards this goal include the latest CCTV technology and increased staff training."
