PAM Hewitson, standing in for Delice, welcomed members to the July meeting.
Jenny Cox used her bursary on a weekend course at Farncombe Estate which included yoga, relaxation, meditation and head massage.
Margaret reported on a relaxing evening at Ipsley WI's garden meeting.
Sheila reported on the Trotters picnic walk at Eckington. Members were accompanied to Stensham Lock by a representative of the County Marketing Office and a photographer, who took lots of pictures and one may be used in the 2007 guided group walks.
In August, members are visiting Meadow Farm Nursery at Feckenham.
The speaker for September is Bernard Mills on the history of Kays.
Speaker Suzanne Kirby enlightened on the subject of house swapping. Following a holiday in Madeira three years ago where she met a Swedish couple who had house swapped, she signed up with Home Link, an agency which had started in New York.
She has been to America, Canada and Australia and had visitors from down under.
She had made several lasting friendships and most swops were for four to six weeks.
