ON July 5, members watched a creative microwave cookery demonstration by Sue Robinson, of Micromagic.
She emphasised the advantages of microwave cooking such as less washing up, no heat or steam in the kitchen and greater safety for the disabled or arthritic cook.
After a chance to sample all the results, members agreed microwaves were not just for warming up food.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 6 at 2pm in Studley Village Hall. More details from Margaret Pilkington on 854564.
