ALCESTER can look forward to a derby crunch against neighbours Woodrush in the forthcoming season as a result of the RFU's latest local league reshuffle.
Both sides have been placed in the new Midlands Five West (South) division, a change of leagues from Warwickshire One for the Kings Coughton side.
Kings Norton and Five Ways Old Edwardians will be locking horns in an enlarged Midlands Five West North.
Redditch's agonising last day relegation last season has been confirmed with the club set to kick-off in Division Six in the new campaign.
Kings Norton's preparations for the season are already well under way with last year's stand-in skipper Paul McGlynn elevated to the role on a permanent basis after guiding the Hopwood side to their North Midlands vase triumph last season.
With training already under way, the club are hunting for a new club coach after Ian Jackson moved to Barkers Butts.
And the club have signed a major sponsorship deal with kit suppliers Samurai and expect their new strip to arrive before the big kick-off.
Anyone interested in joining the Ash Lane side can come to training on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm.
