ALVECHURCH will not be struggling for goals next season if their first two pre-season games are any benchmark.
The Lye Meadow side rained in nine goals ahead of last night's planned friendly at home to Conference North neighbours Redditch United, and inevitably keith Rostill has already helped himself to a couple.
Manager Shaun Cunnington saw his side follow up their 4-1 win over Moreton Rangers with a 5-3 victory against higher league Evesham United on Saturday.
And he has been impressed with 18-year-old goalkeeper Neil Hackin, who has played in both.
Hackin has come in from Worcester City after Church keeper Karl Lewis joined Southern League Stourport Swifts.
Other new faces include striker Leon Brown, brother of Church regular Wayne, and central defender Craig Abbott, one of two players who have switched from Blackheath.
Church host Southern League Bromsgrove Rovers on Tuesday (ko 7.30pm).
