STUDLEY and Inkberrow both lost ground in the race for the Prudden Road Surfacing Tennis League runners-up spot behind champions Stratford.
Studley crashed 3-1 to Stratford and Inkberrow played out a 2-2 draw against high-flying rivals Shipston to allow Littleton - who beat Claverdon 4-0 - to go into second for the first time, with just a week of the regular season to play.
Berrow's Alex Woodbridge and Adam Hill beat Bob Baker & Nigel Yates 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, and then beat Ali Kashani and Steve Turner 6-3, 6-3. Jim Richardson and Mark Rawlings beat Kashani & Turner 6-2, 7-6, but lost to Baker & Yates 6-4, 4-6, 5-7.
In their 2-2 draw with Shipston, who slipped to fourth, Inkberrow's Chris Baker and Richardson lost to Ed Bosley and Adam Moran 4-6, 3-6, before beating Bob Bass and Chris Challis 6-1, 6-1. Graeme Rankin and Hill beat Bass and Challis 6-3, 6-3, but lost to Bosley and Moran 1-6, 2-6.
Stratford's Callum Bailey and Tim Page beat Studley's Dave Innes and Chris Hughes 6-3, 7-5, and then beat Gary Jackson and Nick Allen 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Stratford father and son pair Steve and Sam Righton also beat Jackson and Allen 6-3, 6-1, but lost to Innes and Hughes 3-6, 1-6.
Bidford stayed fourth in Division One after they drew 2-2 with Aston Cantlow.
Division Two remains the same with Inkberrow B retaining the lead after beating relegation favourites Studley B 3-1.
Alcester stay mid table after dooming basement club HDA to almost certain relegation when they defeated them 4-0.
In Division Three Bidford were relegated despite being awarded a 4-0 win over Claverdon B, who only sent one player.
Claverdon have been fined and had a point deducted from their league score for a second offence.
In Division Four Alcester B and Claverdon C are promoted but the title race is still open. Alcester lead by four points from Claverdon C after beating Henley B 3-1.
Claverdon C for their part similarly defeated Moreton B 3-1 and are reliant on taking maximum points and Alcester dropping all theirs in the final week.
Harbury beat Studley C 4-0.
