CONSERVATIVE leader David Cameron met Redditch Tories to discuss important issues in the town.
Mr Cameron stopped off during a Midlands tour to meet Tory Partliamentary spokeswoman Karen Lumley and Redditch councillor Juliet Brunner.
Matters on the agenda included the Alexandra Hospital cuts.
Mrs Lumley said: "I updated him on the key issues here in Redditch and discussed with him the terrible situation facing the Alex.
"He spoke about the fact Labour had promised to save the NHS but we were now seeing thousands of doctors and nurses all over the country facing redundancy."
She said she hoped he would visit Redditch again in the near future to look at the other issues facing the town.
