REDDITCH was in full bloom at an annual garden show held at Where Next Association headquarters.
The town's garden society held its 20th flower and vegetable show at the Easemore Road centre on Saturday, July 15.
Society chairman Nick Houghton said despite a difficult growing season, there were some impressive exhbibitions of all things bright and beautiful.
"The season has been very difficult. May was very wet, June was very dry and then this month has been hot, so it has been very hard for gardeners," said Mr Houghton.
However, he said the entries for jams, cakes and fruit pies were "better than ever" and he especially enjoyed sampling them.
Visitors also enjoyed a sizzling barbecue.
"It went very well and it was a lovely family day for all the club members, gardeners and allotment owners of Redditch," added Mr Houghton.
