STAFF at a nursery in Alcester have spoken of their delight at the results of an inspection.
Scallywags Pre-school in Church Street received praise by Ofsted inspectors for the quality and standards of care.
The report said Scallywags gave good provision in helping children to be healthy, protecting children from harm and helping them stay safe.
The report said: "There is a high ratio of adults to the number of children present and staff are carefully deployed, ensuring children are always well supervised."
It praised the nursery's ability to develop children's self-esteem and independent learning.
It was also noted the organisation was good and "children's care is well supported by enthusiastic and dedicated staff".
However, the report also mentioned that for future improvements, the complaints procedure needed to be updated, along with developing methods of identifying and planning activities to meet the needs of all the children.
Methods of assessing the children's progress also needed to be reviewed.
Supervisor Hayley Lewis said the staff were very pleased with the results of the report and they celebrated on the last day of term with the children by having a party.
