WORCESTERSHIRE'S bowlers made heavy weather of dismissing the Bradford/Leeds UCCE students on the final day of the match at Harrogate.
The university side were eventually bowled out for 279, which handed the County a comfortable 250-run win, but the victory did not come easily.
Sam Reddish plundered 25 fours and two sixes in his innings of 148, while Stuart Wedge, Nadeem Malik and Rog-er Sillence picked up two wickets each.
Now Worcestershire will be looking to get their Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy campaign back on track when they travel to play Scotland in Edinburgh tomorrow (10.45am).
Graeme Hick, Zaheer Khan and Matt Mason are all set to return after missing the university game.
