ZAHEER Khan is set to make his Worcestershire bow in a 50-over pre-season match against Warwickshire at New Road tomorrow.
The Indian left-arm seamer does not arrive in Worcester until later today, but director of cricket Steve Rhodes is confident his most recent signing will be able to overcome the long journey and join his new colleagues in the middle.
On-going maintenance work means the Members' Pavilion is out of commission for the day. However, refreshments will be available from the bar underneath the executive suite balcony at the New Road side of the ground.
Worcestershire have endured a disappointing run of results in their pre-season campaign so far, losing all three warm-up games they have been able to complete.
