FORMER Worcestershire spinner Richard Illingworth is one of four new officials appointed to the full list of first class cricket umpires.
The other three are former North-amptonshire and England batsman Rob Bailey, Richard Kettleborough and Neil Bainton.
They replace David Shepherd, Mer-vyn Kitchen, Alan Whitehead and John Hampshire, who have all retired.
Illingworth played nine Tests for England, scoring 128 runs at 18.28 and taking 19 wickets at 32.36.
