PEOPLE have beaten a path to a programme of guided walks taking in historic sites around the Wyre Forest area.
Walkpast 2006, organised by Worcestershire County Council, has proved so popular, the places have all been taken up.
Among sites on the schedule are rock houses at Drakelow and Ribbesford Woods.
The walks are being led by members of the council's historic environment and archaeology service.
Malcolm Atkin, head of the service, said: "These walks have always been extremely popular because they are ideal for beginners wanting an introduction to archaeology and also those interested in developing their knowledge of Worcestershire's historic heritage.
"We have also put on an extra three walks within a matter of days. We are delighted with the response."
