FORMER members of the First Kidderminster Sea Scout group are being urged to join in celebrations to mark its diamond jubilee.
An exhibition at the group's Hoo Road headquarters on Saturday is the first event planned for the anniverary.
It will feature displays of photographs, uniforms and equipment dating back as far as 1946.
The group is also hoping to compile a complete record of KD1's history for its website and hopes to borrow items ranging from badges to camp logbooks and including uniform items, which would be returned, for the record.
Personal recollections of former members would also be welcomed.
Saturday's exhibition runs from 11am until 5pm and refreshments will be available.
Other anniversary events lined up for later in the year include a family camp at Rhydd Covert, where parents will be able to join in with activities that their children participate in, such as abseiling, climbing, archery and Scoutcraft.
More information is available from Group Scout leader, Terry Dovey, on 01562 744398.
The group comes under Kidderminster Scout District and offers adventure activities and skills training.
