THE NFU roadshow will be in Angel Place, Worcester, on Thursday, August 24.
"What we are aiming to demonstrate is how important farming is to all of us," said roadshow presenter Johnny Ball when he unveiled the revamped unit in Stratford at the start of the summer tour.
"We're portraying the role that farmers play in looking after the countryside, something they have been doing for generations - caring for the landscape that makes our countryside so beautiful."
Mr Ball said a new role for farmers would be providing sources of energy in the form of biofuels and biomass, to help reduce the impact of climate change.
"Farming is one of the mainstays of the rural economy," he said. "Not just because of all the food the industry produces, but because our beautiful countryside is the backdrop for our multi-million pound tourist industry."
The roadshow has a variety of children-focused activities, including Annabel the model cow, the Friendly farm Club website and lots of things to learn and games to play.
