THE Conservatives have selected their candidate to contest the Tenbury Wells seat in the next General Election.
Harriett Baldwin, 46, a pensions and investment manager working in London, has been selected to fight West Worcestershire - of which Tenbury becomes part next January .
Mrs Baldwin, who stood for the Tories at Stockton North in the 2005 General Election, is married with three children and will move to the area as soon as possible.
"I am looking to move immediately and hope to be working from Worcestershire by January," she said. "I'm very much looking forward to becoming part of the community."
West Worcestershire is one of the most marginal seats in the country.
