A TALK on antiques given by auctioneer Philip Serrell at Salwarpe Village Hall helped Worcester Breast Care Support Group to raise £450, while a summer lunch in the garden at the home of Lynda and Kit Noble, of Droitwich, raised £1,030.
The funds raised will be used to improve the breast care service to women in the county. This year the support group has bought a digital camera and lap top computer for use in the breast care department. It will be used for training staff at Worcester's Royal Hospital, enabling women to see how reconstructive surgery can improve their body image.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at St Andrew's Methodist Church Hall, Pump Street, Worcester, and welcomes anyone needing support.
