ICE-skating in the middle of summer will be on offer in Malvern when a ice rink is created next month.
Tickets are now on sale for two days of skating on Thursday and Friday, August 4-5, in the hall at Malvern Youth Centre.
Skating is just one of several summer events the youth centre has organised.
Over three days, July 25-26 and July 28, young people are being given the opportunity to drop into the centre, between noon and 4pm, to work on digital photography and photo-journalism projects.
Cameras will be available, along with printing and editing facilities, and it is hoped that the results will be exhibited after the project ends.
Hip-hop and street dance is being performed in the centre on Thursday (July 27), at 7.30pm. The dramatic show is being staged by a group of young people who have been rehearsing over the last few months. Entry is £3.50
Tickets for the ice-skating, which is open to everyone, are priced £3 and £3.50, for one-hour sessions between 11am and 3pm, finishing at 4pm. A disco for young people, face-painting and refreshments are also on offer on both days the rink is open.
Centre manager Jon White said: "This is going to be a very exciting summer for Malvern Youth Centre.
"We're looking forward to seeing all areas of the centre being used and hope lots of people who don't normally access the centre will come and join the fun."
The centre is open for 11 to 16-year-olds between July 24 and August 4, from noon to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays.
