STUDENTS turned up in classic cars, on motorbikes and tandems, in a horse and carriage, and even in a shopping trolley for the Dyson Perrins High School leavers' prom.
A total of 180 students and 40 staff danced the night away at The Abbey Hotel on Friday, July 14, where guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and nibbled on a 4ft sculpture of massive chocolate globes covered in icing flowers, made by a former pupil who is now a chef.
Teacher and organiser Steph Vipond said: "We had a brilliant live band. The dance floor was heaving all night, absolutely everyone was on their feet.
"It was a lovely summer's evening. Hopefully, all the students had a ball."
Awards were presented on the night to prom king and queen Barney Roberts and Rosie Spaughton and to best-dressed male and female James Hayward and Abby Smith.
Hannah Simpson won the award for best hair style and Steph Trussler for best arrival after turning up in a Morgan car.
