MEDIAEVAL militia will be brought to life by the experts tomorrow. Worcester's mediaeval merchants house, better known as Greyfriars, will host a day of hands-on history with local re-enactor Paul Harding, pictured above, recreating the past with authentic weapons and armour from the time of the Wars of the Roses.
Visitors to the 15th century house in Friar Street will have the chance to try on armour, and discover what a soldiers' life would have been like.
Thanks to members of Sir William Gascoigne's Fellowship they will also be able to meet a hand gunner, a surgeon and an archer from the period. The re-enactment takes place between 1pm and 5pm and normal admission prices apply.
For more information call Greyfriars on 01905 23571.
