Worcester Nomads U11s v. Rushwick (11 a Side)
WORCESTER Nomads Y11s captain Tom Webb won the toss and elected to bat.
Chris Dodds (12) and Webb (24) gave Nomads a solid start and this was continued by Neils Emmerson (9), but Nomads failed to press the early advantage and finished their 20 overs on 92-5.
Rushwick started poorly losing a wicket in the first over, but then the runs started to flow. After 10 overs Rushwick were 46-3 and looked comfortable, but then Nomads started to take wickets at regular intervals, and together with some excellent fielding dismissed Rushwick for 70 off 15.4 overs.
For Rushwick M Snout (16) and L Platt (10), scored the majority of the runs. For Nomads Tom Badger, Ryan Griffin, Ben Beasley, Chris Dodds, Jon Butler, Neils Emmerson and Alec Zaroulias all took a wicket a piece.
Nomads won by 22 runs.
