TWO concerts featuring internationally-renowned musicians take place in Malvern next week.
On Tuesday (July 25), violinist Michael Bochman, well-known as the leader, of the ESO, will be joined by Michael Blackman (piano) to perform works including Schubert's Sonata in A and Franck's Sonata in A.
The following day, composer-pianist Philip Martin, who is frequently heard on radio and often tours in Ireland and the US, will be playing movements from the Schumann Fantasie Op 17 and four Chopin waltzes.
The concerts have been arranged by Malvern Hills Piano Holiday, but are open to the public. They are at 8pm at St Edmund's Hall, College Road. Tickets are £10, students £5, under-15s free.
