THERE is still time to become an active referee for 11-a-side local football or mini soccer in time for the coming season.
The courses will all be held at Worcestershire Football Association Headquarters, De Salis Drive, Hampton Lovatt Industrial Estate, Droitwich. WR9 0QE
A course for 11-a-side football starts on Friday, August 18, from 7pm until 9pm and continues at the same times on following Fridays until October 13.
The first three weeks are on basic Law, with an exam on the fourth week based on the multi-choice principle. At this stage you can start to referee.
A mini soccer is running for two consecutive evenings is on August 10 and 11, starting at 7pm. On passing a multi choice question examination on the second session, successful candidates will be given a certificate and be able to start refereeing.
Minimum age for taking up refereeing is 14 years.
