SUPERVET Mike Amery completed the double by winning the Velo Club Sevale 25 mile championship, adding to his success in the 10 mile event last week.
Once again he had the edge on his two younger challengers, Brian Boswell and Will Davies. Mike also had his revenge on guest rider Sean Dyson who was second fastest on the night, just six seconds slower than Mike.
The full results were: Club members - M Amery 60.36, B Boswell 61.22, W Davies 61.32, S Price 69.19, J Sharrock 69.59, T Knight 70.59, G O'Mahoney 72.49, L Burman 80.51. Guest riders - S Dyson 60.42, D Preece 64.45, T Forrester 66.05, E Garton 68.44, R Finch 70.10.
The next event is a 10 mile time trial on Thursday (July 27), starting at 7.30pm from Chance Lane. Competitors must be a member of a cycling club affiliated to the CTT, but temporary membership of the Velo Club Sevale can be taken out on the night.
