STARS such as Art Malik, Penelope Keith and Felicity Kendall are heading to Malvern this autumn.
The Malvern Theatres autumn season has more than a few famous names topping the bill. The season starts with Alan Bennett's comedy Haebeas Corpus starring Vicar of Dibley actor James Fleet.
The same month sees television heart-throb Jeremy Edwards treading Malvern's boards, along with Les Dennis and Mike McShane, in a new comedy, Marlon Brando's Corset.
Stage and screen actress Penelope Keith stars in the comedy Entertaining Angels, showing at Malvern before moving to the West End.
Direct from its sell-out success in the West End and winner of the 2006 Best Comedy Olivier award, Heroes will appear in October. It stars Christopher Timothy, Michael Jayston and Art Malik as three First World War veterans passing their days dreaming of escape from a military hospital.
The story of Big Daddy comes to the theatre this September. Tennessee William's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Cat On a Hot Tin Roof will star William Gaunt, Rosemary Leach, Lesley Harcourt and Ben Hull.
Penelope Keith's Good Life co-star Felicity Kendal makes her return to the Malvern Theatres stage when she plays a successful actress in Amy's View, a powerful story about love and loss.
Former Conservative politician and TV pundit Michael Portilio and best selling author Bill Bryson are also due to put in appearances.
