CALLOUS thieves targeted a woman in a wheelchair in daylight outside a Kidderminster supertmarket.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, which happened in the car park of Netto, in New Road, at 11.30am last Thursday.
The victim was a middle-aged woman from Kidderminster, who had been returning to her car in her wheelchair and had change amounting to just £6.50 stolen from her hand.
DC Frank Concannon, of North Worcestershire CID, said "We are appealing for anyone who can help us identify the people responsible for this crime.
"There would have been lots of people around the area at this time of the day and I would like them to think if they may have seen the victim in the car park or in Netto beforehand.
"We can only describe the two offenders as a white male and female in their mid-50s, at this time. The offenders were first seen by the victim inside the store. They then approached the victim outside in the car park and took the money from her hand and then calmly got into the front passenger seat of a small green car, which was waiting near the entrance to the car park.
"The car then drove off towards Kidderminster town centre."
If anyone help, call Kidderminster police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
