TEAMS from Evesham have been busy during the recent heatwave when some of their play was almost as hot as the weather!
The A team drew 3-3 against strong opposition from Droitwich, while the B team overcame their county rivals 4-2.
The club's Friday C squad bounced back after defeat to Kings Norton when, led by captain John Curtis, they defeated Worcester Golf and Country Club 4.5-1.5.
The only setback was in the Scratch League where Cleobury Mortimer overcame the Craycombe side 4-1.
Dave Carsberg also shone in the sunshine when his net score of 66 was good enough to win the Midweek Medal.
